Bristol University Yoga Society
The University of Bristol has one of the most successful student yoga societies in the country.

It is taught by our experienced teacher, Nathalie Blondel, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

The classes are designed to increase flexibility and strength while promoting relaxation.

Yoga is taught in the tradition of B. K. S. Iyengar.

Yoga's more dynamic poses represent a useful counterpoint to the more sedentary aspects of a student's life, while the more tranquil ones can act as useful antidotes to exam stress.

The society offers two evening yoga classes a week, during term time, on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Classes are held in the [University Union] building.

The society has an associated Facebook group.

There's also a yoga society page on the Union web site.
